Keep your training on track

It's important to stay consistent with training and build up your stamina gradually. Here are five tips to help you stay motivated and keep your training on track.

  • Plan ahead. Set a diary reminder for your walks to build them into your routine.

  • Make it social. Try walking with friends and family or join a walking club.

  • Pick a playlist. Download a podcast or create a playlist to help you get in the zone.

  • Train early. Set your alarm for early morning walks, the rest of your day is then your own.

  • Remember why you're hiking. Whether it's in support of a loved one or to try a new challenge.
